Length in the hook
Measure from the point in one hook to the same point in the other hook. Mark the photo where the measuring tape starts and ends.
Always measure SPI, SPA and FL in the same way. Please note where you took the measurement; then we can include the correct production dimension on the quotation.
Switch off the machine, secure it according to your own safety procedure and never measure on a rotating or freely hanging installation.
Use one measuring tape, measure straight and write the unit of measurement.

Measure from the outside of one hook to the outside of the other hook. Always indicate that this is SPA.
Measure the flat part of the deck, without including the upright or folded hooks.
If in doubt, measure in two places. Just report any difference or wear.
Preferably use a clean, undamaged deck. A worn deck may be stretched or warped.
Choose the size requested on the quotation and note which measuring method you use.
Measure the width of the flat part, the free opening and the thread thickness.
Take a photo straight from the side and put a measuring tape or ruler in the frame.
Stress, wear and deformation change the size. Measure several points if the deck is crooked and tell us that you measured a used deck.
Add the dimensions and measurement method to your machine data. Compare them later with the production dimensions in the quotation.
